Maggie Weber is a professional artist and community organizer. As a child, she attended summer art camp in her hometown Shenandoah, Iowa, along the Wabash Trace Nature Trail, which cultivated her love for art in the outdoors. Maggie is invested in the next generation of creatives and has collaborated with local organizations such as Project Everlast, The Hope Center for Kids, and The Montessori Co-Op School to empower young people to pursue their passions. She received her B.A. in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2014. Maggie is interested in how community action on a neighborhood level can bring about change, and just recently finished a two year term as Vice-President of the Benson Neighborhood Association. She currently mentors high school students in the Urban Arts program for the Kent Bellows Mentoring Program, manages Public Art projects for BFF Omaha, and serves as Development Director for Amplify Arts.
